Hey there, folks! Get ready for some exciting news coming your way from Phaltan in Maharashtra. The Maharashtra Journalists Welfare Fund is all set to hold its prestigious 32nd State-level ‘Darpan’ awards ceremony on Monday, January 6.
The awards will be distributed by none other than State Fisheries and Ports Development Minister Nitesh Rane, former State PWD Minister MLA Ravindra Chavan, and Senior Journalist Vijay Baviskar. The event will take place at the ‘Darpan’ Auditorium in Pombhurle, taluka – Devgad, district – Sindhudurg.
Ratnagiri-based senior journalist Rajabhau Limaye will be the Chief Guest, with Fund President Ravindra Bedkihal presiding over the function. The awards pay homage to the pioneer in Marathi journalism, Balshastri Jambhekar.
Some of the distinguished awardees this year include Shrikant Rambhau Sable, Dipak S Shinde, Navnath Kutal, Vimal Vitthalrao Nalawade, Adv Rohit Shamrao Ahiwale, Yashwant Bhimrao Khalate-Patil, Shobhana Kamble, Dr Pramod Shrirang Farande, and Nirmalkumar Suryavanshi.
