The losing candidates of the Mahavikas Aghadi in the recent Maharashtra Legislative Assembly Elections are not taking their defeat lying down. They are gearing up to file a petition in the Bombay High Court, claiming that the vote-counting process was tampered with. The Nationalist Congress Party – Sharadchandra Pawar (NCP-SP) is leading this legal challenge and is also working to get the defeated candidates from Shiv Sena and the Indian National Congress on board.

Accusations of vote count tampering have been flying around the state since the elections concluded. To discuss their next steps, NCP-SP recently held a meeting in Pune, where they decided to submit the petition before the January 6th deadline. The meeting was attended by prominent party members, including the Women’s Wing President, Spokesperson, and Pune City President, with legal guidance provided by Adv. Mehmood Pracha.

The fight for justice is on, and it seems like the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly Elections are far from over. Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story.
