In a daring rescue operation today at Thosarpaga Ghat, a man was saved from drowning after jumping into the river around 3 PM. Thanks to the quick thinking and actions of firefighters and lifeguards stationed at the ghat for the Ganesh festival, the man was rescued with the help of a life jacket, life ring, and rope. The authorities are now looking into the reasons behind the man’s decision to jump into the water. Another example of our brave first responders in action!
