Hey folks, have you heard about the daring escape from Yerawada Central Jail in Pune? That’s right, a convict named Raju Pandharinath Dusane managed to slip away from custody and is now on the run. Dusane, who is 43 years old and hails from Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, was serving a life sentence for a murder he committed.

Apparently, Dusane had a murder case against him at Warje Malwadi Police Station, and back in 2021, he was handed down a life sentence by the Additional Sessions Court. The court also slapped him with a fine of Rs 5,000. Fast forward to August 19, during a routine headcount at the jail, Dusane was nowhere to be found. It turns out he had made a bold escape from the open prison.

Jail authorities have wasted no time in taking action, with police officer Avinash Govind Pawar lodging a complaint at Yerawada Police Station. A case has been registered against Dusane, and efforts are underway to track him down. Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story!
