As we gear up to celebrate Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s Birth Anniversary, also known as Shiv Jayanti, this year promises to be a special one. The Maratha Tiger Force (MTF) is all set to host the celebrations at the Shri Tanot Mata Temple near the India-Pakistan border in Rajasthan on 22nd February.

The event, organized in collaboration with the Border Security Force (BSF), will feature cultural programs, educational lectures on Shivaji Maharaj, and an awards ceremony to recognize the contributions of BSF personnel and social workers. Five prestigious awards named after the legendary ruler will be presented to deserving individuals from Maharashtra and Rajasthan.

But that’s not all – a separate celebration is also scheduled for 19th February at the BM Birla Auditorium in Jaipur, courtesy of the Bharat Kranti Mission. The event will see the participation of the Governor of Rajasthan, as well as ministers and legislators from both states.

The goal of these celebrations is not just to honor Shivaji Maharaj’s legacy, but also to educate people about his life and the concept of Swarajya. Sandip Lahane Patil, the driving force behind these events, has been vocal about his desire to see 19th February recognized as a national holiday in tribute to the great warrior king.

So mark your calendars and get ready to join in the festivities as we pay tribute to one of India’s most revered historical figures!
