MG Motors is making a big move in the Indian market with the launch of 14 premium ‘MG Select’ dealerships across the country. These new showrooms will be instrumental in introducing the brand’s innovative electric vehicles to customers in major cities.
The first phase of expansion will see dealerships opening in cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai, and more. This widespread reach will ensure that customers across India have access to MG’s premium offerings.
The first two models to be showcased under the ‘Select’ branding are the MG Cyberster and MG M9. The Cyberster is an all-electric roadster with a 77 kWh battery pack, offering a range of 443 km and a quick 0-100 km/h acceleration in just 3.2 seconds. The M9, on the other hand, is a luxury electric MPV with a 90 kWh battery and features like heated, ventilated, and massaging seats.
With prices expected to range from Rs 50-80 lakh for the Cyberster and around Rs 70 lakh for the M9, MG is also offering an innovative Battery as a Service (BaaS) option to make electric vehicles more affordable for customers.
The launch of these new dealerships and premium electric models marks a significant step in MG’s expansion into the Indian market, catering to the increasing demand for high-performance EVs. Stay tuned for the official launch of the Cyberster and M9 in March 2025!
