The Pune Housing and Area Development Board (MHADA) is all set to conduct a draw for 3,362 flats in various locations including Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad, PMRDA, Solapur, Kolhapur, and Sangli on January 29th. The event will be overseen by top officials including Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, and Minister of State for Housing Dr. Pankaj Bhoyar.
The draw, which will be held in an audio-visual format, will also be attended by MHADA Chairman Shivajirao Adhalrao Patil, Additional Chief Secretary of the Housing Department Valsa Nair Singh, and MHADA CEO Sanjeev Jaiswal. Applicants have been invited to witness the draw at Sharad Chandra Pawar Hall in Pune Zilla Parishad.
The housing scheme, which was launched in October 2024, initially had 6,420 flats on offer. Due to various reasons, the deadline for applications was extended twice. As of now, MHADA has received 1,375 applications for the first-come, first-served flats and a whopping 93,662 applications for the flats available through the draw. Out of these, 71,642 applicants have successfully paid the deposit and will be part of the final draw.
For those unable to attend the event in person, MHADA has made arrangements for applicants to watch the draw live on YouTube. The link to the live stream will be sent to registered mobile numbers via SMS. MHADA has advised all applicants to stay updated and follow the necessary procedures for participation in the draw.
