Hey there, Pune peeps! We’ve got some interesting news coming your way about the western part of Pune District. MLC Ranjit Singh Mohite Patil recently sent a letter to Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, shedding light on the roadways in the area.

So, what’s the deal? It turns out that the western entrance to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) jurisdiction is causing quite a bit of trouble. The road that leads to Raigad, the capital of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s Swarajya, is in a sorry state. Specifically, the Pashan-Sus-Ghotawade-Mulshi route has been neglected by the PMC, leading to daily traffic jams that residents have to deal with.

But wait, there’s more. This route is not just any road – it’s the only way to get to Symbiosis College in Lavale. Many students from Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad rely on this route to get to college every day. And with medical courses being offered at Symbiosis and a nearby hospital, the traffic congestion doesn’t just affect students. Doctors and ambulances also get stuck in the chaos.

In light of these issues, Mohite Patil has called on CM Eknath Shinde to step in and address the concerns of the citizens. He’s pushing for the completion of the DP road within the PMC jurisdiction and has requested the deployment of officials from the Traffic Branch and traffic wardens to help manage the traffic situation.

Let’s hope that these issues get resolved soon so that the residents of Pune’s western part can enjoy smoother and safer journeys on the road. Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story!
