Plus, they’ll be providing services like drinking water, fruits, and snacks to keep everyone energized.

During the Palkhi ceremony, MSEDCL will launch special power protection measures and the PM – Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana. They’ll be spreading awareness about these initiatives through leaflets, audio-visual documentaries, exhibitions, dialogues on electricity safety, and demonstrations.

Remember to stay safe around electrical installations in public places along the palanquin route. Keep a safe distance from electric poles, feeder pillars, DP boxes, and other electrical systems. And if you have any electricity-related complaints, don’t hesitate to call the toll-free numbers provided by MSEDCL.

Rajendra Pawar, Chief Engineer of Pune Zone, assured that MSEDCL is all set to welcome the Palkhi celebrations. They’re taking special precautions to ensure the power safety of the devotees and a continuous power supply during the festival period. Temporary power connections will also be available upon request. Just reach out to the engineer, staff, or the toll-free number of MSEDCL in case of any power service issues.
