Get ready for a seamless and safe Palkhi celebration as MSEDCL gears up with a team of 35 engineers and 140 employees to ensure uninterrupted power supply and security along the Palkhi routes of Sant Shreshta Dnyaneshwar Maharaj and Jagadguru Sant Tukaram Maharaj. The PM – Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana will also be launched to provide free electricity along the Palkhi route under the Pune Zone of MSEDCL.
The Palkhi ceremonies are set to take place from June 30th to July 2nd, coinciding with Ashadhi Ekadashi, within the Bhosari, Pimpri, Rasta Peth, Rajguru Nagar, and Mulshi divisions. Special measures have been put in place, including additional transformers and equipment, to ensure a smooth power supply during the celebrations.
In addition to power protection measures, MSEDCL is also focusing on public safety by advising caution around electrical installations along the Palkhi route. The public is urged to stay away from electrical systems and report any issues to the 24-hour toll-free numbers provided by MSEDCL.
Rajendra Pawar, Chief Engineer of Pune Zone, reassured the public of MSEDCL’s preparedness for the Palkhi celebrations, emphasizing the importance of power safety for devotees.
