3. Maha Ashtami on October 11th
4. Sandhi Puja on October 11th (11.43 am to 1 pm)
5. Maha Navami on October 12th
6. Dashami/Dussehra on October 13th
The theme for this year’s Durga Puja celebration is “Celebration with Responsibility”. The President of Nandanik Sanstha, Mr. Sandip Mukherjee, emphasized the importance of being conscious about the materials used for idols, the paint applied on them, and controlling noise levels during the celebrations. The Sanstha aims to contribute to the cultural and traditional heritage of Pune while respecting the local community.
Nandanik Sanstha focuses on promoting Bengali culture and heritage, organizing cultural events, and providing a platform for performing arts. The organization aims to create an authentic Durga Puja experience for Probashi Bengalis and locals, offering cultural programs, traditional food, and a festive atmosphere.
