In a strategic move to defeat Ajit Pawar’s trusted aide and sitting MLA Sunil Shelke, a ‘Maval Pattern’ is set to be executed in the Maval Assembly segment. According to reliable sources, NCP (SP) President Sharad Pawar is unlikely to field a party candidate and may instead support NCP (AP) rebel Bapu Bhegde.

The Maval BJP has already extended their support to Bhegde, and now the NCP (SP) is gearing up to make their move. With the seat likely to be allotted to the party in the MVA, Bhegde has sought support from NCP (SP) and has reportedly received assurance from Pawar himself.

NCP (SP) workers have already started campaigning for Bhegde, and with promises of support from Congress and Shiv Sena (UBT), the ‘Maval Pattern’ against Shelke is shaping up to be an interesting fight.

Former BJP MLA Bala Bhegade stated, “Bapu Bhegde will be elected with the blessings of the people from the Maval constituency. We are supporting Bapu Bhegde to ensure the survival of BJP in Maval. Our target this time is to get Bapu elected.”

In a twist, NCP (AP) State Vice-President Bapu Bhegde rejected a position offered by the party as Vice-President of the Maharashtra Council of Agricultural Education and Research (MCAER). Bhegde expressed his desire to contest the State poll from Maval, leading to rebellion within the party. The opposition parties have now planned their strategy for the upcoming election.
