Hey Pune peeps! Big news coming your way from the Vadgaonsheri constituency. MLA Sunil Tingre, who represents the NCP, is all set to bring some major changes to the Vishrantwadi-Kalas area. During a recent footmarch in Kalas, Tingre shared his ambitious plans with the locals and received a warm reception.

One of the key projects on Tingre’s agenda is the construction of a flyover at Vishrantwadi Chowk. With over Rs 60 crore allocated for this project, motorists can look forward to smoother journeys to areas like Lohgaon, Dhanori, Tingrenagar, Vishrantwadi, Kalas, and Alandi. And don’t worry, this flyover won’t get in the way of future metro plans to Alandi and Pune Airport.

Tingre also highlighted the area’s cultural importance, especially as a gateway to pilgrimage sites like Alandi, Dehu, and Vadhu Budruk for the Varkari sect. To pay homage to this heritage, statues of Sant Shri Dnyaneshwar Maharaj, Sant Shri Tukaram Maharaj, and Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj have been installed in Kalas.

The footmarch was a hit with Mahayuti activists, locals, and former MLA Jagdish Mulik, who joined Tingre on his journey. Looks like exciting times are ahead for the Vishrantwadi-Kalas area! Stay tuned for more updates on this development.
