Hey Pune peeps! Guess what? NCP State President Sunil Tatkare and NCP State Women’s wing President Rupali Chakankar were in town today for a ‘signature campaign’ and it was lit!
Thousands of people showed up to sign a white canvas supporting the Majhi Ladki Bahin Scheme for the next 5 years. Sunil Tatkare spoke about the government’s efforts to empower women with schemes like Majhi Ladki Bahin Scheme, Free education to girls, and Lek Ladki Bahin Scheme. He also mentioned the Mulina Mofat Shikshan Yojana which covers higher education costs for families earning up to ₹8 lakh annually.
Frontal organizations like the youth and women wing have been busy connecting with voters through unique programmes. Youth leader Suraj Chavan led a signature campaign in Vadgaon Sheri assembly, joined by MLA Sunil Tingre, Pune City President Deepak Mankar, and Pune Youth City President Sameer Chandere.
More campaigns are happening across the state, with Suraj Chavan organizing another Signature Campaign in Pimpri assembly constituency and Rupali Chakankar hosting one in Pune earlier this month. The Majhi Ladki Bahin Scheme has already benefitted over 1.6 crore women, thanks to Deputy CM Ajit Pawar.
