Residents of Pan Card Club Road in Baner are facing a major problem with garbage piling up on their streets. Despite numerous complaints to the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), no action has been taken to address the issue. The uncollected garbage has led to foul odors, attracting pests and blocking drainage systems, putting residents at risk of waterborne illnesses.

The situation has worsened during the recent monsoon season, with potholes on the road causing water to pool and creating hazardous conditions for drivers. Residents are frustrated with the lack of basic amenities and infrastructure, including footpaths for pedestrians and street lighting at night.

Attempts to contact the Assistant Commissioner of PMC, Girish Dapkekar, were unsuccessful, as he was unavailable for comment. Residents are planning to write a letter to Pune Police about safety concerns and are seeking a meeting with PMC officials and other authorities to address the neglect of their area.
