Hey there Pune peeps, have you seen that viral video of a tempo going in reverse without a driver in Hadapsar? Well, turns out the owner of the tempo, Shravan Waghmare, is in hot water with the Hadapsar police.
According to reports, Waghmare was working on a divider construction project at the Ramtekdi flyover on August 3. He forgot to apply the handbrake to the tempo he was using, and when he got out, the vehicle started rolling backwards down the slope.
Thankfully, no one was hurt as there was no traffic on the flyover at the time. The tempo eventually came to a stop after hitting the divider about 500 meters away.
The police have filed a complaint against Waghmare for negligence, so it looks like he’ll have some explaining to do. Let this be a lesson to always make sure your vehicle is secure before stepping away, folks! Stay safe out there.
