Hey there, folks! We’ve got some exciting news about a new road development project in the works. According to the approved plan, the road is set to be a whopping 75 meters wide, with two lanes that are 12 meters each, a 9-meter-wide mass transit route in the center, and 2-meter-wide paved shoulders on both sides. Talk about a wide and spacious road!
In the first phase of the project, a 270-meter-long dual carriageway section has already been successfully asphalted. And get this – out of the total planned 550-meter road length, 450 meters have already been completed according to the development plan. Progress is definitely being made!
Now, let’s talk about the benefits that this new road will bring to the citizens. First off, it will enhance connectivity between Bhakti-Shakti Chowk in Nigdi and the Pune-Nashik Highway, as well as the Old Mumbai-Pune Highway. This means easier and quicker access to these major routes.
Reducing heavy traffic on main roads will also contribute to a more eco-friendly environment and help save time and fuel for commuters. Who doesn’t love saving time and money, am I right? Plus, the road will serve as a crucial link connecting Talawade IT and Industrial Hub to Chakan MIDC, making transportation smoother for industrial and commercial purposes.
And let’s not forget about safety – the road is being developed with advanced technical methods that will improve the drainage system and minimize accident risks. Safety first, always!
According to Pramod Ombhase, Chief Engineer at PCMC, the road connecting Triveninagar to the Nashik Highway is in its final stages. To make things easier for the public, the route has been temporarily opened for use. The remaining works are moving along quickly, and the road will soon be fully operational. This project is all about reducing traffic congestion, saving time and fuel for commuters, and improving connectivity for industrial and commercial purposes.
Exciting stuff, right? Stay tuned for more updates on this awesome road development project!
