Hey Pune peeps! Have you been struggling with water supply issues in your area? Well, you’re not alone. The Wagholi Housing Societies Association (WHSA) and other concerned groups recently filed a PIL with the Bombay High Court to address the insufficient water supply in areas under PMC, PCMC, and PMRDA. It seems like many residents have had to resort to buying water from external sources due to the lack of a reliable water supply.

But fear not, a committee was formed in response to the High Court’s order last year, led by the Pune Divisional Commissioner and representatives from PMC and PCMC. This committee includes top officials like the Chief Engineer of PMC’s Water Supply Department and the Secretary of the Pune District Legal Services Authority.

To make it easier for residents to report water supply complaints, the committee has launched a new email grievance system. You can now send your complaints to PMC at [email protected] and hopefully get your water issues resolved faster. So, if you’re facing water problems in Pune, don’t hesitate to reach out and make your voice heard!
