From midnight to midnight on the 3rd, paragliding, hot air balloon rides, drones, microlight airplanes, and other private space flights are prohibited in Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad, and Pune Rural.

Pune District Collector Suhas Diwase has made it clear that there will be consequences for anyone caught breaking these rules. Punitive actions will be taken under Section 223 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) 2023. Diwase is also calling on citizens to help maintain law and order and ensure the safety of important personnel during the President’s visit.
