Hey there, Pune travelers! If you’re planning to hit the Mumbai-Pune Expressway today, you might want to rethink your timing. A one-hour traffic block is scheduled for this afternoon to install a new directional board on the expressway.
From 12 noon to 1 pm, all traffic on the expressway will come to a standstill to make way for the installation of a large gantry as part of the highway traffic management system. But don’t worry, we’ve got you covered with a traffic diversion plan to help you navigate your way around the disruption.
For light vehicles heading from Mumbai to Pune, you’ll need to make a left turn from Kalamboli and use the old Mumbai-Pune National Highway from Kalamboli Circle. All vehicles can also take the route via Kalamboli-D-Point-Karanjade-Palaspe through Kalamboli Circle and continue on the old highway.
And for those coming from Mumbai to Pune, you’ll be diverted from the Kon Bridge onto the Pune channel of the expressway. So, plan your journey accordingly and stay safe on the roads!
