The Crime Branch of the Pune police is leaving no stone unturned in the investigation. They have seized CCTV camera footage from over 150 locations in Kalyaninagar, Mundhwa, Koregaon Park, and Vadgaosheri. Talk about thorough investigation, right? Officials from the Crime Branch are super pumped as they believe crucial details will come to light from the footage, including from the minor accused’s bungalow, the accident site, and the pubs he visited before the incident.
Under the watchful eyes of Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar, Additional Commissioner (crime) Shailesh Balkawade, and DCP (crime) Amol Zende, the Crime Branch officers ACPs Sunil Tambe and Satish Govekar are on the case. These guys mean business!
Last Saturday, the Crime Branch raided builder Vishal Agarwal’s bungalow at Bramha Sun City in Vadgaon Sheri. They suspect some shady technical stuff going on with the CCTV footage in the area. Apparently, the boy and the driver were caught leaving the bungalow on a motorbike. The plot thickens!
In case you missed it, last Sunday in Kalyaninagar, a tragic accident occurred where two IT engineers lost their lives. The minor accused, who is the son of Vishal Agarwal, has been sent to an observation home by the Juvenile Justice Board. Vishal Agarwal is now in judicial custody, and his father, Surendra Agarwal, has been arrested for pressuring their driver to take the blame for the accident. Yikes!
And if that wasn’t enough drama for you, it seems the Agarwal family tried to cover up the evidence post-accident. They allegedly coerced the motorist to confess to driving the car at the time of the incident. The driver was even detained at the bungalow for two days before miraculously being released after his family raised an alarm. The Agarwal duo is now facing charges for detaining and threatening the driver. What a rollercoaster of events!
