Pune district is gearing up for the meticulous task of counting votes for the 21 assembly constituencies, with a whopping 2,143 officials and staff members involved in the process. This includes micro-observers, counting supervisors, and assistants, along with a reserve staff of 458 officials to ensure smooth operations.

The voting process, covering 8,443 polling stations, has been successfully completed, with the counting of votes scheduled to begin at 8 AM on November 23. Specific allocations of counting staff have been made for each constituency, ranging from 57 officials in Daund to 97 officials in Bhor.

Election authorities have laid down strict rules to maintain the integrity of the counting process, including banning electronic devices and requiring all personnel to wear valid identification badges. Access to the counting centers is restricted to authorized individuals only.

Results will be announced in phases through loudspeakers at the counting centers to provide timely updates to all stakeholders. With over 2,100 officials appointed for the task and a focus on adherence to protocols, the district administration is committed to ensuring a fair and transparent election process.
