Tragic Porsche Accident Victims’ Families Meet Chief Minister in Mumbai

In a heartbreaking turn of events, the parents of Aneesh Awadhiya and Ashwini Koshta, the two young IT engineers who lost their lives in a fatal Porsche accident in Pune, met with Chief Minister Eknath Shinde in Mumbai today.

The Chief Minister assured the grieving parents that the case would be expedited to ensure that strict action is taken against the culprits responsible for the tragic incident. He also announced a compensation of Rs 10 lakh each from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to support the families of the deceased.

Aneesh Awadhiya and Ashwini Koshta, both 24 years old and hailing from Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, tragically passed away on May 19 when a speeding Porsche, driven by a minor, crashed into their bike from behind in Kalyani Nagar in the early hours of the morning.

The police have detained the minor driver and taken into custody his parents, grandfather, as well as the owners and staff of the pubs where the minor allegedly consumed alcohol before the fatal accident.

During the meeting with Chief Minister Shinde at his Varsha residence, Omprakash Awadhiya, father of Aneesh, and Suresh Koshta, father of Ashwini, received condolences and reassurance from Shinde regarding the government’s commitment to ensuring justice for their children. Despite the minor being released on bail, Shinde clarified that comprehensive action has been taken against all involved parties.

Shinde emphasized that the government would work diligently to expedite the trial process and ensure that the culprits are swiftly brought to justice for their actions.

Following the tragic incident, Chief Minister Shinde directed Pune Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar to take strict action against the culprits involved in the accident, ensuring that no one escapes accountability. The families expressed their gratitude for the swift investigation and arrests made, thanking Chief Minister Shinde and the Maharashtra government for their support in seeking justice for their beloved children.
