Hey there, Pune commuters! If you’ve been enjoying the cool, comfortable rides on the e-buses introduced by PMPML, you might also be noticing some not-so-great changes lately. Yep, we’re talking about the cleanliness – or lack thereof – on these electric buses.
Initially, passengers were thrilled with the air-conditioned luxury of these e-buses. But now, complaints are pouring in about the dirty conditions inside. Many are wondering if PMPML is turning a blind eye to their pleas for cleaner buses.
With a fleet of 500 e-buses managed by contractors, PMPML caters to a whopping one crore passengers per month and around 3.5 lakh passengers daily. But despite the popularity of these eco-friendly rides, cleanliness complaints have spiked recently.
PMPML did try to address the issue by instructing contractors to ensure thorough cleaning before each bus hits the road. But sadly, the cleanliness woes have resurfaced, leaving passengers frustrated.
From dust and broken handles to damaged seats, passengers are facing a range of cleanliness issues. And when the AC kicks in, guess what? More dust blowing around the bus, making the journey less than pleasant. The rainy season isn’t helping either, making the buses even dirtier.
It’s high time for PMPML to step up and tackle these cleanliness concerns head-on. Despite contractors getting paid on time, passengers are left wondering why their complaints are falling on deaf ears. Let’s hope PMPML takes swift action to clean up their act and give passengers the comfortable, clean rides they deserve.
