New property owners who recently acquired properties in the Pimpri-Chinchwad area are now receiving special first notices regarding property tax assessments. If any property owner has any objections to the notice they have received, they can file a written complaint at the relevant zonal office. The Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has set up seven designated centers where hearings will be conducted for these complaints.

In addition to the physical hearing centers, the PCMC is also offering an online hearing facility for property owners who are unable to attend in person. Property owners can simply scan a provided code to schedule their online hearing date.

Since the start of this initiative, the PCMC has already issued special first notices to 24,000 new and expanded property owners identified in the survey. The plan is to issue notices to an additional 30,000 owners this week, with a goal of reaching 75,000 owners by July 31.

The seven designated hearing locations are spread out across different areas in Pimpri-Chinchwad, making it convenient for property owners to attend. Whether it’s in Wakad, Akurdi, Sangvi, Talawade, Moshi, Dighi, or Pimpri Waghere, property owners can bring all necessary documents to the respective hearing center for immediate resolution of any issues.
