Hey guys, have you heard about the latest move by the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC)? They are cracking down on private hospitals and clinics that don’t have proper fire safety measures in place. And it’s all thanks to a tragic incident that happened in a children’s hospital in Delhi earlier this year.
Deputy Municipal Commissioner Manoj Lonkar has stated that they will be sharing a list of establishments without the necessary fire safety clearance with the health department for further action. This is a step towards ensuring the safety of patients and staff in these facilities.
The PCMC is taking this issue seriously and has already started physically inspecting each establishment before issuing a No Objection Certificate (NOC). This proactive approach is aimed at preventing any future fire incidents and making sure that all necessary safety measures are in place.
It’s great to see the PCMC taking such decisive action to protect the community. Let’s hope that other municipalities follow suit and prioritize fire safety in all public establishments. Stay safe, everyone!
