What’s the deal with unauthorised schools in Pune and Pimpri these days? The Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) is cracking down on these shady operations, and it seems like they mean business.
First up, we have the Little Star English Medium School in Chinchwade Nagar, Chinchwad. Shreyash Kumar, a local resident, is in hot water after being booked under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. Looks like they were trying to pull a fast one on the government and parents alike.
And then there’s the Orchid International School on Link Road in Chinchwad. J Decosta from Bengaluru and Samir Gorde from Viman Nagar are facing similar charges under the same sections of the law. It seems like these guys were up to no good as well.
Vilas Dayaram Patil from New Sangvi wasn’t having any of it and lodged complaints against both schools at the Chinchwad Police Station. It’s good to see people standing up against these scams.
According to the police, these schools were operating without proper authorization since April 2024. They were taking fees from parents and pretending to be legit, all while cheating the government, students, and their families. Not cool, guys.
Let this be a lesson to all the shady school operators out there – the PCMC is watching, and they’re not afraid to take action. Stay on the right side of the law, folks.
