PCMC, or Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation, recently made headlines with their cultural tribute to the Indian Constitution. The event, which took place in Dubai, saw Union Minister Athawale presenting recognition to PCMC officials in attendance. The ceremony was graced by esteemed guests including Dr. Vishwapatri Trivedi, Hameed Mohammad Bin Salem, Mahir Abdulkarim Zulfar, and Santosh Shukla.
One of the highlights of the event was the largest multilingual singing of the Preamble, with participants from both India and Nepal. The use of sign language to promote inclusivity was also a key aspect of the cultural tribute. This initiative landed PCMC a spot in the World Book of Records, further solidifying their commitment to spreading the values of peace and equality.
Union Minister Ramdas Athawale praised the initiative, stating that the values enshrined in the Indian Constitution promote unity and development. He commended PCMC for their efforts to bring these values to the people through cultural programs.
Additional Commissioner Chandrakant Indalkar also lauded PCMC Commissioner Shekhar Singh’s leadership, noting that the honor in the World Book of Records was a proud moment for the city. The event was attended by representatives from 40 countries, showcasing the global impact of PCMC’s cultural tribute to the Constitution.
