Pimpri Chinchwad Police Rescue Four Thai Women in Hinjawadi Trafficking Bust

1. The Anti-Human Trafficking Unit recently carried out a successful operation in Kasarsai, following a tip-off about a potential trafficking ring.
2. Acting on the information received, authorities sent a decoy customer to Surya Villa, where the accused was allegedly operating.
3. The raid took place at 11 PM, resulting in the arrest of the agent and the rescue of several Thai women who were believed to be victims of trafficking.
4. During the operation, police confiscated a mobile phone and other materials valued at ₹20,000 from the accused individual.
5. The Hinjawadi Police Department is currently conducting further investigations into the case under the guidance of top officials including Commissioner Vinoy Chaubey and Joint Commissioner Shashikant Mahavarkar.
6. Additional Commissioner Vasant Pardeshi, DCP Sandeep Doifode, ACP Vishal Hire, and SPI Digambar Suryawanshi were also involved in overseeing the operation.
7. The dedicated team of officers who participated in the raid included Sambhaji Jadhav, Bhagwant Muthe, Mukund Ware, Shraddha Bhargude, Maruti Karchunde, Ganesh Karote, Sunil Shirsat, Neelam Buchade, and Sangita Jadhav.
