Big news for hospitals in the area as new guidelines have been put in place for the CRS portal. The guidelines state that hospitals will now receive institutional logins for the portal. Sub-registrars and ward medical officers will be the ones providing login credentials, while hospitals will need to appoint data entry operators to handle the task.
Dr. Manisha Naik, the assistant health officer and Head of the Birth and Death Department, stressed that the purpose of this initiative is to improve efficiency and transparency. She mentioned that hospitals must make sure to obtain their institutional user IDs and passwords, and that data entry operators should be properly trained for the job.
Adding to this, PMC health chief Dr. Nina Borade highlighted that both private and government hospitals are now required to submit digitally recorded data to sub-registrars and regional medical officers within three days for official processing.
This new system is set to streamline the process and make things easier for hospitals in the region. Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story.
