Hey Pune peeps, it’s getting hot in here! The PMC is raising the alarm on the rising risk of heatstroke as summer temperatures soar. With more and more folks falling ill due to the heat, it’s time to take some precautions to stay safe.
Who’s most at risk? Well, it’s the little ones, the athletes, and the elderly folks with underlying health conditions. So, keep an eye out for symptoms like nausea, fatigue, and rapid heartbeat – they could be signs of heatstroke.
To beat the heat, stay indoors during the hottest part of the day, drink lots of fluids, and rock those light-colored cotton clothes. And don’t forget to look out for your furry friends and little ones – never leave them in a parked car!
If someone around you shows signs of heatstroke, act fast! Get them into a cool spot, loosen their clothes, and give them some water if they’re conscious. And remember, keep an eye on the temperature and seek medical help ASAP.
Stay cool, Pune! And remember, it’s better to be safe than sorry when it comes to beating the heat. 🌞🥤🕶️
