Hey there Pune folks! Are you tired of dodging potholes on your daily commute? Well, it looks like the Pune Municipal Corporation has got your back! Following the heavy rains that hit the city recently, PMC workers have been working round the clock to fill in those pesky potholes.

From August 3 to August 5, a total of 1,224 potholes across 153 locations have been filled up. That’s a whole lot of asphalt material – 256 metric tons to be exact! It seems like a significant number of roads in Pune had been dug up for some construction work, leaving behind patchy surfaces that just couldn’t handle the rain.

But fear not, because PMC engineers have been working non-stop to fix the problem. Starting Saturday night, they’ve been out there on the streets, making sure that the roads are safe and smooth for all of us. Anirudh Pavaskar, the Head of the Road Department at PMC, mentioned that they’ve used 363 cubic meters of concrete along with the asphalt material to get the job done.

So next time you’re out and about in Pune, take a moment to appreciate the hard work that’s gone into fixing those potholes. And let’s hope that we can all enjoy a smoother ride from now on! Cheers to the PMC for getting things done!
