Hey Pune peeps, have you heard about the deep cleaning drive that went down in the Hadapsar Mundhwa Ward Office area today? Yep, the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) was on a mission to spruce up the neighborhood, starting bright and early at 10:30 AM.
It was a team effort, with multiple departments pitching in to make sure every nook and cranny was squeaky clean. From Magarpatta Chowk to Ravi Darshan Society, and from Ravi Darshan Society to Vaibhav Chitramandir Chowk, the whole area got a good scrubbing.
Assistant Municipal Commissioner Ravi Khandare and a bunch of other city officials were on the scene, making sure everything ran smoothly. The Solid Waste Management Department was all about tidying up the main roads – clearing soil and dust, taking down posters and banners, and giving the flyover area a good once-over. They even slapped fines on anyone caught littering, raking in a total of Rs. 22,300.
The Electrical Department took care of the wires and street light poles, while the Building Development Department did some chamber cleaning. The Encroachment Department cracked down on illegal structures, and the Skysign and License Department went after unauthorized hoardings.
All in all, it was a successful day of deep cleaning in Pune, thanks to the hard work and collaboration of all these different departments. Next time you’re in the Hadapsar Mundhwa area, take a moment to appreciate the clean streets – and maybe think twice before tossing that candy wrapper on the ground.
