You can grab these clay idols at the Ghole Road Art Gallery this Friday and Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm. And get this – these idols dissolve in water in just two hours, so you can immerse them at home and pour the mixture into plant holders. How cool is that?
The PMC is really pushing for a green Ganeshotsav this year, so they’re asking everyone to decorate their homes with natural and biodegradable materials. They’ve even set up tanks for the immersion process and donation centers for the idols. And get this – if you donate your Ganesha idol to the PMC, you’ll get a bag of organic fertilizer. Win-win!
