Hey Pune commuters, get ready for some temporary changes to your bus routes on August 1st! The Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) is making adjustments to accommodate celebrations honoring the birth anniversary of writer and poet, Sahitya Ratna Lokshahir Annabhau Sathe.

If you usually rely on buses on routes 47, 50, 52, 52a, 60, 64, 64m, 66, 68, 69, 70, 71, 72, 78, 89, 90, 97, 103, 111, 117, 118, 118, 199, 216, 227, 227A, 231, 232, 233, 233A, 233B, 279, 294, 295, 297, 298, 299, 339, 354, or Metro Shuttle 13, be prepared for some diversions. Buses will be taking a different route from Lakshmi Narayan Talkies through Mitra Mandal Chowk to Sarasbaug if roads are closed at Jedhe Chowk and Sarasbaug.

And if you usually catch buses at the Nataraj bus station at Swargate, don’t worry! Buses will be operating from Khandoba Mandir, Parvati Paytha until the road reopens.
