Hey Pune peeps, get ready to celebrate International Women’s Day in style this year! The PMPML has just announced that women can enjoy free travel on Tejaswini buses across Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad on 8th March. How cool is that?
Thanks to the directive of PMPML Chairman and Managing Director Deepa Mudhol-Munde, Tejaswini buses will be running on 13 different routes in the twin cities. These buses will be operating from key locations like Swargate, Nigdi, Pune Station, Kothrud, Hadapsar, Katraj, Pimpri, and Bhosari, ensuring seamless transportation for all the ladies out there.
To make the day even more special, female conductors will be on board these buses, and depot officials will greet women passengers with roses and good wishes. And remember, only women passengers will be allowed on the Tejaswini buses that day, so it’s a ladies-only affair!
