In a recent crackdown on unauthorized constructions in Pune, the PMRDA took action against three hoardings that were put up without permission. Two hoarding owners decided to take down their hoardings voluntarily, but one hoarding had to be seized by the PMRDA.

The operation, which took place on Thursday, involved the removal of approximately 5,840 square feet of illegal hotels, pubs, restaurants, and bars. Excavators, JCBs, and manpower were used to clear the area. Officials from the PMRDA’s Unauthorized Construction Elimination Department were on site to warn people against engaging in unauthorized construction activities.

The operation was carried out under the supervision of PMRDA Commissioner Dr. Yogesh Mhase, Superintendent of Police Amol Tambe, Deputy Collector Dr. Deepti Suryavanshi-Patil, and other officials. Police Inspector Maheshkumar Saratape, Junior Engineer Ganesh Jadhav, and Abhinav Lodhe were also present to ensure the operation ran smoothly.
