Hey Pune peeps, have you been dodging potholes on the road from Sancheti Chowk to Savitribai Phule Pune University Chowk? Well, you’re in luck because the PMRDA has finally taken notice and started road repair work to fix those pesky potholes!
Metropolitan Commissioner Dr. Yogesh Mhase wasted no time in getting the ball rolling after receiving complaints from frustrated drivers. He ordered an immediate inspection of the road and directed engineers from PITCMRL and PMRDA to start the repairs.
The teams wasted no time in getting to work, first levelling and cleaning the road before filling in those dreaded potholes. Asphalting and concreting were then completed by two teams, with the PMRDA stating that the work will be done in phases over the next few days.
So, if you’ve been cursing those potholes on your daily commute, take heart knowing that relief is on the way. Keep an eye out for smoother roads ahead, courtesy of the PMRDA!
