The Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) has been given a tight nine-month deadline to come up with plans for several new schemes in the region. However, concerns have been raised by residents and civic activists, like Sudhir Kulkarni, about delays in approval for previous TP schemes.

These delays have left over two lakh citizens without essential infrastructure such as roads and water supply. The newly proposed schemes include Dhamane (87.83 ha), Dhamane (122.90 ha), Godumbre (103.12 ha), Darumbre-Salumbre (141.53 ha), Sangavade (141.50 ha), Nere (126.94 ha), and Bavdhan Budruk (119.77 ha and 68.70 ha).

With so many citizens relying on these essential services, the pressure is on PMRDA to ensure that these plans are drafted and approved in a timely manner. Stay tuned for updates on the progress of these schemes and how they will impact the lives of residents in the Pune Metropolitan Region.
