Good news for passengers traveling to and from Pune Railway Station – the pre-paid auto-rickshaw service is making a comeback! After being suspended for some time, the service is now being resumed, with a focus on providing convenience to passengers, especially women and senior citizens, during odd hours.

A recent meeting of the Rickshaw Pravasi Seva Sanstha, Pune was held to discuss the restart of the pre-paid auto-rickshaw booth. It was decided to bring back the service, with a proposal to have a private entity run the booth.

DCP (Traffic) Rohidas Pawar has reached out to social organizations, unions, and private companies, urging them to participate in running the prepaid scheme at the railway station on a trial basis. Interested parties have until June 26 to submit their applications.

With this initiative, passengers can expect a smoother and more convenient experience when it comes to commuting to and from Pune Railway Station. Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story!
