The woman in question, Sunita Namdev Manjre, aged 33, has been arrested for allegedly luring young women into prostitution with promises of easy money. The manager of the massage parlour has also landed in hot water with a case registered against them.
Reports suggest that Sunita was running the massage parlour in a building in Swargate. It was suspected that illegal activities were taking place there, prompting a police raid. The young women found on the premises were taken into custody.
Charges have been filed against Sunita and her accomplice under the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act of 1956. Sunita has been taken into custody, and the investigation is being led by Police Sub-Inspector Subhash Rathod.
