Pune Airport faced a major headache today due to a global Microsoft system outage that wreaked havoc on operations. Airport Director Santosh Dhoke revealed that the outage resulted in manual processes being used, leading to significant delays for flights all over the country.

As of 5:00 PM, the airport reported the following disruptions:
– Indigo: 1 flight cancelled, 4 flights delayed
– Spicejet: No cancellations, 2 flights delayed
– Air India Express, Vistara, Akasa, Fly 91, Star Air, Alliance Air, Air India: No cancellations or delays

Passengers and airport staff were understandably frustrated by the situation, with efforts being made to minimize the impact while Microsoft works on resolving the issue globally. The manual operations have been slower and less efficient, causing delays for flights nationwide.
