With the upcoming Diwali festival just around the corner, Aeromall is gearing up for a potential surge in passenger numbers. Rajput, a spokesperson for the airport, mentioned that although there hasn’t been a significant increase in travelers yet, the current occupancy rate is already at 90%. This has prompted the airport to take proactive measures to prevent any congestion or delays.
To tackle this issue, Aeromall has decided to deploy additional staff at help desks outside Terminal 2. These staff members will be responsible for monitoring the flow of passengers and addressing any potential bottlenecks. In addition, the airport has also made changes to its lifts to improve efficiency. Call buttons on upper floors have been disabled for lifts primarily used by drivers and staff, allowing them to prioritize passengers and reduce waiting times.
These modifications are all part of Aeromall’s efforts to ensure smooth operations and minimize inconvenience during the upcoming festive rush. By taking these proactive steps, the airport hopes to provide a seamless travel experience for all passengers during this busy period.
