The ongoing drama surrounding probationary IAS officer Dr Puja Khedkar and her parents took a disturbing turn with the emergence of a new video clip. In the clip, Manorama Khedkar and her associates can be seen brandishing axes and lathis while threatening citizens and the police. Shockingly, the police themselves captured the incident on camera as evidence.
The incident, which took place in 2022 near the Metro construction site close to the Khedkar’s ‘Omdeep’ bungalow, stemmed from a dispute over materials for the Metro work being kept on the footpath. When the police were called to intervene, a heated argument ensued between them and the Khedkars. Despite the police’s attempts to explain that they were overstepping their bounds by taking matters into their own hands, the altercation continued.
This is not the first time that Manorama Khedkar has found herself in legal trouble. Previously, she was accused of threatening farmers in Mushi with a gun. Additionally, she allegedly threatened the police and journalists who had come to her home regarding a notice for Dr Puja Khedkar. Her behavior during these incidents has been described as aggressive and uncooperative, with her even refusing to allow authorities onto her property.
