Hey there, Punekars! It’s Mubarak Ansari here with some juicy news for you. So, remember that viral video of a guy engaging in some pretty lewd acts on the streets of Pune? Well, the culprit has been caught!

Gaurav Ahuja, a 25-year-old resident of NIBM Road, Kondhwa, was seen in the video stopping his BMW in the middle of busy Shastri Nagar Chowk and well, let’s just say he wasn’t exactly setting a good example for the youth of Pune. The video caused quite a stir in the city, with people calling for action to be taken against the offenders.

But here’s the twist – Ahuja actually surrendered himself to the Karad police in Satara district, apologizing for his actions and expressing regret. He was then handed over to the Pune police, who promptly arrested him at 7:50 AM this morning.

This isn’t Ahuja’s first brush with the law, though. He has a history of criminal activity, with cases registered against him for gambling in 2021. He’s also allegedly involved in a betting racket on cricket matches. Talk about a shady past!

A case has been registered against Ahuja and his friend, Bhagyesh Nibjia, who was with him during the incident. They’re facing charges related to public nuisance, obscene behavior, and obstructing traffic. Bhagyesh was nabbed by the police yesterday.

Oh, and get this – there was a beer bottle visible in the video, leading authorities to suspect that the duo may have been under the influence at the time. The video shows them stopping their car at a traffic signal, getting out, urinating on the road, and well, I’ll spare you the details of the rest of their antics.

Needless to say, the incident has sparked outrage among Pune residents, with many demanding strict action against such public misconduct. Let’s hope this serves as a lesson to others who think they can get away with such behavior on our streets.
