Pune Celebrates Saint Sadhu Vaswani’s 145th Birth Anniversary with Annual Rath Yatra

3. Didi Krishna Kumari led the yatra and distributed prasad to participants and passersby, emphasizing Sadhu Vaswani’s message of love and compassion for all beings.
4. Two halts were made at Pudumjee Compound and Kohinoor Hotel, where recorded talks of Dada JP Vaswani inspired the gathering to observe Meatless Day on 25th November.
5. Participants like Bina from Mauritius described the yatra as a soulful journey that spiritually uplifted them and provided an out-of-the-world experience.
6. The rath yatra is an annual pilgrim procession since 1966 to commemorate Sadhu Vaswani’s birthday and spread his message of compassion and love for all beings.
7. Sadhu Vaswani was a saint who advocated animal rights and ahimsa for world peace, with the procession route passing through various landmarks in Pune before concluding at Sadhu Vaswani’s Sacred Samadhi.
