Hey there! Here’s the latest scoop from Pune – the Crime Investigation Department (CID) is on the case of Walmik Karad, a member of the NCP, who is suspected of being involved in the kidnapping and murder of Massajog Sarpanch Santosh Deshmukh. Karad finally surrendered after 20 days and today was his first day of interrogation at the Pune CID office.

The District and Sessions Court granted Karad 14 days of CID custody, and during his court appearance, he didn’t have any complaints against the Maharashtra Police administration. However, it seems like his health took a hit after his surrender, with reports of him struggling to eat due to his diabetes and experiencing breathing difficulties. Doctors had to provide him with temporary oxygen support.

Interestingly, Karad claimed to have been in Nagpur for the past 22 days before surrendering, coincidentally during the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly’s Winter Session in Nagpur. Could he have been trying to pull some strings with key politicians during his time there? The plot thickens!

Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story.
