Hey there, folks! Did you hear about the wild incident that went down at the Pune City Post Office yesterday? A PMC tanker took a nosedive into a sinkhole within the premises, and let me tell you, it was quite the spectacle. Luckily, no one was hurt, but it definitely got people talking.

The whole thing was caught on CCTV and has since blown up on social media. People are bombarding the administration with questions, and the opposition is having a field day with this mishap.

According to PMC Commissioner Rajendra Bhosle, the tanker fell into the pit because there was a well underneath the paver block road where it was driving. Apparently, the post office building was built back in 1925 when wells and tanks were a common thing in the area. Fast forward to now, and the weight of the tanker caused the road to collapse, sending it into the pit.

It turns out that the PMC didn’t think about the heavy traffic of mail trucks when they constructed the road over the well. Over time, the paver blocks weakened, and well, you know the rest.

So, next time you’re driving around Pune, keep an eye out for sinkholes because you never know what might be lurking beneath the surface. Stay safe out there, folks!
