Hey Pune peeps, here’s the latest scoop for you! Dilip Khedkar, the father of probationary IAS Officer Puja Khedkar, has been granted anticipatory bail by the Pune Court. Yup, you heard it right! His lawyer, Adv. Sudhir Shah, made the application and Pune District Sessions Judge A.N. Mare gave the green light until 25th July, with some conditions attached.

So, what’s the deal with Puja Khedkar, you ask? Well, she was training at the Pune District Collector’s Office but things took a turn for the worse. The District Collector reported her misconduct to the Maharashtra State Government, leading to her transfer to Washim. Ouch! Puja landed in hot water for using a red beacon and labeling her car with ‘Maharashtra Government’. And that’s not all – there are allegations of shady documents submitted for the UPSC Exam, which are currently being looked into.

But wait, it gets juicier! A video of Puja’s mom, Manorama Khedkar, supposedly threatening farmers and locals in Mulshi Taluka went viral. Yikes! The police got involved and now Manorama is in custody for further investigation. Dilip Khedkar, Puja’s dad, is also involved in the case but hasn’t been nabbed yet. His lawyer played the anticipatory bail card in court and it worked – he’s off the hook until 25th July by paying a bond of Rs 30,000.

Looks like the Khedkar family is in for a bumpy ride. Stay tuned for more updates, Pune peeps!
