In a recent development, a man named Jat has landed himself in hot water as an FIR has been filed against him for his involvement in drug smuggling. The FIR was lodged at the Kondhwa Police Station under Sections 8(c) and 17(b) of the NDPS Act. Jat reportedly confessed to smuggling drugs into Pune in order to make some fast cash.

The operation was carried out under the leadership of Pune’s Commissioner of Police Amitesh Kumar and Joint Commissioner of Police Ranjan Kumar Sharma. Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime) Shailesh Balakawade, along with Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime) Nikhil Pingle and ACP Ganesh Ingale, oversaw the crackdown.

The raid itself was led by Senior Police Inspector Ulhas Kadam and Assistant Police Inspector Aniket Pote. A team of dedicated constables, including Dayanand Telange Patil, Sandeep Shirke, Vishal Dalvi, Sachin Malve, Pravin Uttekar, Sandesh Kakade, Dattaram Jadhav, Dnyaneshwar Ghorpade, and Yogesh Mohite, provided support during the operation.
